This is the first major test, so we're just making sure everything holds together. Duration: About three minutes Result: Everything did not hold together. Destroyed the drive sprockets and speed controller. Bottom Line: $632.58 in damages Media: 1 movie (10.6 MB) Major Test #2: 04.08.2005 Test Objective: Final presentation. Duration: Half an hour, roughly five minutes of driving Result: A very impressive presentation despite several problems (We got an A+). Second massive controller failure (not until after the presentation, thank God). Bottom Line: Over $800 in replacement parts necessary (not counting refunds) Media: 22 images Major Test #3: 06.23.2006 Test Objective: Try out the recent upgrades. Duration: Over 20 minutes of new video Result: A few hiccups along the way, but still a success. That would, of course, make this the first successful test in the robot's career as a robot.
